More space. More possibilities.
A NEW HOME FOR YOUR BREAK IN MERANO
Since 1968, this property has been part of the Obermais villa district in Merano. It is now being transformed into the PINEA Garden Aparthotel Merano. The name PINEA pays homage to the towering pine trees in the garden, which lend the building its Mediterranean character.
Our Merano apartments are a place for anyone who likes to organise their own stay whilst valuing personalised service, tranquillity and quality. The timeless architecture, furniture in a classic-modern style and the spacious garden continue to tell the heritage of the building.
In addition, there are contemporary holiday apartments with their own kitchens, an in-house shop, a new wellness area and a small bistro menu served in the evening twice a week. We’re still here for you at reception and through our personalised concierge service. So much remains as it was. And yet there’s plenty more to enjoy.

For anyone who values peace and quiet and independence, and who likes to organise their own stay in Merano. For people who wish to live independently in their own apartment, whilst still enjoying personalised service, a superb wellness area and the comforts of a hotel.
The PINEA Garden Aparthotel Merano enjoys a peaceful setting in the upmarket Obermais neighbourhood. At the same time, Merano’s old town is only about a 15-minute walk away. This allows you to enjoy both a peaceful retreat and proximity to the town in a completely natural way. The location is also ideal for excursions in the surrounding area, hikes, cycle rides or a visit to the Merano 2000 hiking and skiing area. The cycle path to the Passeier Valley and the Adige Cycle Route pass close by the aparthotel. The bus stops are located about 100 metres below the aparthotel, or a five-minute walk away, and provide regular services to the historic centre and other destinations in and around Merano.
There are various options for the evening: in the on-site shop, you’ll find groceries and ready-to-cook regional dishes (dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen, lasagne …) which you can prepare in the kitchen or microwave in your own apartment. Twice a week, you can also dine at the aparthotel itself, choosing from a small bistro menu. The quality and high standards for which the Hotel Juliane’s cuisine has been renowned for 60 years remain unchanged. If you’d prefer to eat out, our concierge service will be happy to assist you and book a table at one of the recommended restaurants in the area.
